Vilsack in NH July 2009

Monday morning on July 6th USDA Secretary Vilsack will be in Concord, NH to meet with local farmers and other people. He’ll be visiting a local farm and holding a “town hall forum” in the at a nearby orchard. If you’re in the NH area this is a chance to meet with the USDA Secretary to give him feedback about issue on your mind.

Reminder: Last NAIS Listening Session Today 6/30/09

Today is the last scheduled USDA listening session for their proposed mandatory National Animal Identification System (NAIS):

The anti-NAIS community has another chance to make a difference in the outcome. As once before, it is better to keep the details close to our vests, so we are just asking that you donate a few dollars to fund the cost. This is urgent. We need to have the funds in hand no later than July 20th.
