Alert - State, Action Item, News — walterj 5:20 am

Washington state No NAIS Activist farmers have put forth a bill 1151 to prohibit participation by Washington state in the USDA’s National Animal Identification Program (NAIS). The USDA has said that NAIS will remain voluntary at the federal level so the fight now is at the state level. Now is the time to examine the text of this bill and contact your state legislators to block NAIS in your state.

HB 1151 was introduced By Representatives Pearson, Kretz, Dunshee, B. Sullivan, Kristiansen, Warnick and Haler. Show your support to these good people too.

NOTE: Before you leave a link see the note below. Several comments that are filled with links are being held in moderation because I don't have the time to fix them so they can post properly. Don't let that happen to your comments... Code the links per the directions below. It is easy to do when you're leaving the comment. It is time consuming for me to do later. -WJ

Comments are moderated so there may be some delay in comments appearing.

NOTE: Links must be hand coded as described below. If you fail to hand code your links then I must do it by hand instead before your comment will post.
