Danny Henshaw who’s farm was raided and pigs were slaughtered by the USDA and Virginia government will be interviewed by Joyce & Dave at 10 am ET Monday, October 2nd, 2006 on the Power Hour. Listen on the web, shortwave or local radio. You can with comments or questions call toll free 1-877-996-4327 X125 during the show.
Please direct comments to the original “Henshaw Incident” article.

Is that time accurate? I thought the website said they were on from 7-10? Don’t want to miss it.
Thanks,
Frankie
[I think the confusion stems from time zones. The press release I received said “10 a.m. (Eastern Time Zone)” and also said lower down “7-10 AM CST”. This makes me thing the timing is 10 am Eastern Tiime, 9am Central time, 8 am Mountain Time and 7 am Pacific Time. Let’s not forget our other continental and off shore friends… that makes it 11 am Atlantic Time, 6 am Alaska Time and 5 am Hawaii Time if I’m reading my map right. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. -WJ]

I read the post from Cindi regarding the incident at their farm the day it was posted. Reading it over and over just infuriated me even more. It is indeed a sad state of affairs when we are fearful in our country, most especially by our own government. Geepers, we don’t need terrorist, we have Mr. Bush and his ‘coat-tail hanging cronies! My heart goes out to the families and their loss. In all of my searches there still has yet to be anything public as far as media covering this story. I did get a response from the office of John Stossel at 20/20 and have sent the contact number for the Henshaw family. The interview on the Derry Brownfield Show was tearful and heartbreaking to hear to say the least. God Bless these families and the rest of us.

My comments about anyone to hesitate, to advise this type of disengagement for two reasons:
I Say: Faith is like a “radar” that sees through the fog.
Faith is reason grown “courageous.”
“Faith-less” is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
Have some Faith, in Yourselves, that even “one” human, Can Make a “Difference.”
1. If no one is going to notice because of being a minority, then change your attitude.
“Attitudes” are contagious. Are yours worth catching?
If you don’t “act,” you don’t make a difference!
If you act, and they don’t notice, what harm has been committed?
Except for their “Profits!” Does that mean anything in NAIS people? “Profiteers?”
Then you try, try, and try again, ideas, ideas, ideas!
To me faith means not worrying.
You just “can & do” for the right reasons.
2. Ask the Communist’s how important it was to watch Government Controlled TV, Radio & Newspapers.
Anyway, most are not watching news, they are watching
“diversionary” reality shows, that change nothing about Freedom.
Doubt is a pain too “lonely” to know that “faith” is his twin brother.
————
CINDI & DANNY HENSHAW, as well as for “Our” Freedom from “Storm Troopers”
ARE the Right Reasons!
Faith and doubt both are needed;
not as antagonists,
but working side by side to take us around the unknown curve.
“Let Roll!”

Hi, I have been reading about the hog slaughter and nothing surprises me at this point, we have a Government that runs roughshod over it’s Citizens in any area they choose. The abuse goes from agency to agency like the plague and ranges from the IRS to The Health Dept.-Medicaid-Medicare-Immigration and on and on plum up to the Area 51 thing. Politicians on the local - State - and Federal level are nothing more than a bunch of drug addicts - Drunks - sexual deviates - misfits - theives and general disorganized criminals and we owe this to ourselves for allowing them to do as they please just as long as we didn’t personally see it with our own eyes, and now when one of them get caught at anything they have surrounded themselves with a cocoon of protection from prosecution from things that would send the Common Man to the Pennitentary, the bad news is that the American people now have no control over an out of control Government and an even more out of control entertainment industry. I don’t know what the answer is but it is not going to get better by complaining to the problem it will only get better by an organized and well informed real effort from the people with a knowledge that great sacrifices will ultimately be made. We still need a Government of the People for the people. Thank you for your time.

Can agree with you, except that this has been in the works for years, long before Geedubya got in.
Not that he appears to be very interested in working for the good of the country or working people.

I have been on a roller coaster of emotions today. Crying for hours, morning the loss of what I thought this country was like yesterday. But crying, complaining and bemoaning never got anything fixed.
I think we need to start protesting, vocally and visibly. It something that seems to get people’s attention. Just raising awareness of the issue is more than half the battle. We need to organize protests and marches and sit-ins, get in the street with signs that have pictures of this slaughter aftermath blown up for the world to see… preferably in front of the White House, Capitol Building or the USDA headquarters. We need to call the media to such things and we need to be loud! As loud as we can possibly be. We need to get the facts of NAIS out there in soundbites and on the internet. So go post information everywhere you can think of on the web, even if it’s “off-topic,” and anywhere you can think of in your neighborhoods and communities… Ask for ads to be posted in your church/Temple bullitins! Tell your neighbors, coworkers and all your friends. Make them so tired of hearing about it, they walk away when they see you coming!
We need direction and purpose in this fight and we need something concrete to do so that this can be fought effectively.
Just had a thought, someone needs to take donations for newspaper and magazine ads. (Guy who runs this site [sorry, I don’t know your name], how ’bout you? Paypal is really easy for this sort of thing.)
[The name is “Walter”. I don’t manage money (our opponents could use that against me falsifying mismanagement of funds or something) or do national ad campaigns (I have no money) but feel free to place ads in your local paper. I have made up some ads that are here which you can use. Some people have also used the handout as an ad in newspapers. Some newspapers even print it for free. If you need a custom ad made up, email me the specs (colors, width, height, paper type, etc) and I’ll do what I can if I have time. I do have a farm to run, construction to do, children to school, a family, NoNAIS.org to handle, etc so time is limited like for everyone. This is not a paid position and I get nada from fighting NAIS. I’m just trying to protect our traditional rights to farm. Do what you can. -WJ]
We have information, we know the government is up to no good here, we have resources to fight it which are not being utilized to their full capacity… With all the people on this site who are pissed about this and all their friends and families, we should be able to accomplish more than we have.
If the fans of “The Sentinel” tv show could get UPN to bring the show back for a proper final season, costing them $8 million+ to produce, we should be able to do something more than we have… The ACLU, the Humane Society and similar organizations need to be made aware of this for starters. People need to bombard their elected officials at all levels on a weekly basis, even if it’s just sending the same letter over and over again, even if the response is “I can’t do anything about what the USDA is doing here,” until they get a *real* response in the form of legislation to protect against this sort of invasion and violation of citizens’ Civil Rights. People need to mail the USDA, telling them that we believe they are doing something illegal and we will fight them at every turn unless their policy is changed.
I was a part of the fight to get “The Sentinel” back on tv… This is how we did it: One person had an e-mail list. Every week, she sent out reminders to mail letters, complete with the e-mail and s-mail addresses of all companies associated with the show, as well as sponsors. After mailing the letters, particpants e-mailed her back with the tally of who they sent letters to that week and how many they sent. Then she sent out totals to all participants so that they could see how much they and other fans were doing and how much of an impact they were making (this was very important because it helps with the sense that you’re not in the fight alone and that there are many others who feel just as strongly as you do.) She also collected money and took out full-page ads in popular newspapers in New York and Los Angeles to raise awareness. We were persistant and though it took almost a year before we got an answer out of TPTB, we got the one we wanted to hear. It worked, people! It worked! If it could work with something as trivial as a tv program, we should be able to make it work with something that really matters, defeating NAIS and the USDA.
Remember: The only people who fail are the people who give up or never try at all.

This is so disturbing to me that I can’t sleep. I’m trying to picture what kind of men who be so willing to go to that farm and start such an inhumane slaughter.
There was recently a rabies scare in China and I read that 50,000 dogs were killed, some bludgeoned to death in the street. We are obviously not very different.
Even IF it was necessary to kill those pigs, there was no danger to anyone while they were on that farm. The total chaos that ensued shows just how dangerous the USDA can be and illustrates just how useless our constitutional rights are becoming.
Scary - very very scary.

Does anybody know how (if?) a lay person may initiate a lawsuit against Government Agencies?
Is it possible to initiate a class action law suit against the government? If not how about suing those individual “storm troopers” on some other charge? I’m not sure if in the Henshaw case a warrant was issued…should it have been? Unfortunately we STILL are out of the public eye…we need some accurate press in a big way, lots of it actually. I’m hoping the Henshaw story generates momentum and gets picked up by some national media. Seems like the 4th amendment and 5th amendment got a good trouncing there. I’m also curious somebody mentioned John Stossel…he’s responded? Is he going to get the
(NO)NAIS issue some press on television? I’m pleased so many of us show up here and exchange thoughts, but we need to get the message more mainstream. I’m willing to contribute to buying some national or regional air time if someone can suggest a way to collect and hold the money in an accountable way. On a smaller level we can take out our own ads, inform people at the local grain store or county fairs, all good, it all helps, but I really think we need to get a trust set up to buy some time or at least “co advertise” with sympathetic political candidates so that the NONAIS agenda is included
as a relevant main stream political issue and the opposition candidates are forced to respond in a public way. Today at the Deerfield, NH fair I talked to a nice couple selling hand milked goat soap, He “thought” he’d heard of NAIS, that’s not good enough, we need him to know and be pissed about it!…I met some other folks, Republicans (I know, I know, but they were nice people and are part of the growing “anti- Bush” Republicans) their issue is The National I.D. well you can bet after politely listening to them talk about how horrible the coming I.D. plan was I directed them to this sight for more tyranny and Constitutional issues. We need to get noticed by television and big print media, even if we have to buy the time…that’s where John Q. Public gets his “unbiased news” and we need to reach that audience and explain why NAIS affects everybody from a tax standpoint, a personal liberty and Constitutional standpoint. (that darned piece of paper again!) I read newspapers daily, watch television news and read news type magazines, I can’t recall seeing anything about Nais other than in the Magazines many of us get, Backwoods Home, Mother Earth News, Country Side etc. Why is that ? Isn’t our story news worthy beyond those of us that keep a few chickens or run a small commercial farming operation? If anybody has any media connections PLEASE get them to this web site and beg for some positive press or air time, while free speech is still allowed! Don’t give up on the everyday efforts either,Print off some sheets from this website and pin them up on bulletin boards tomorrow, bring them to work and put them in the lunch room or better yet on the walls of the bathroom stalls etc. Talk to at least 3 new people everyday and ask them to call your respective state legislators and say NONAIS…if you don’t who will? Thanks for allowing me to vent.
