  1. Please forgive my ignorance - what local stations carry The Power Hour?

  2. I am not sure. If you go to their site they have a listing of where they are broadcast on shortwave in the right sidebar.

  3. Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns said Thursday that 2009 is now the goal for having a voluntary system fully operational.

“I do see animal ID at some point being mandatory,” he said.

Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Ia., earlier this week said Congress might have to make the program “mandatory” if the Agriculture Department fails to do it on its own.

Senator Grassley, and all the Iowa Legislator’s needs to quit pandering for re-election funds (allegedly) from Agriz-Biz, and get to “reality” with NAIS..The USDA is the ones, Senator Grassley, that is “prohibiting” responsible agriculture producers from doing 100% testing for Mad cow… This is you wonderful USDA sir… Get a Clue to reality..

It’s Senator’s like you and the USDA, who are going to let this Country lose it’s freedom, and we will still probably get the MAd Cow, because you and the USDA won’t let anyone test for it… But you sure as heck, will let the USDA “kill” all the animals, in the name of Our Protection…

Get a Clue Senator, to Reality, not Money!

  4. The first sentence of the 2000 vet News states It was always going to be mandatory. The reason given was loss of control as disease was wiped out. Get a copy from your local libray since the internet is being sanitized as we speak. Coverup coverup coverup all the preplanning prior to any real dangers that made the slipping this into Homeland Security so easy.

Title of article:Animal ID Made a Top Priority for Animal Agriculture
Quote “No doubt, Dr. John Wiemers got the full attention of the livestock industry when he started the countdown on mandatory national animal ID. At NIAA’s annual meeting in April, Wiemers, National Animal Identification Director for USDA/APHIS, gave industry leaders a three-year notice.” Unquote.
