Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Senator Arlen Spector (R-PA) are the NAISty legislators behind the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) that will destroy small farmers, homesteading and pet ownership if it is implemented.
Leahy likes to make a big deal about being against the Iraq War and against the Patriot Act and against all things Republican yet here we find him sleeping with the enemy. And they ain’t just sharing a bed for body heat in these cold winter nights! Leahy and Spector have turned to the dark side in their support of evil big Agri-Biz Empire against the small family farmers around the galaxy. Leahy and Spector have become NAISty Sith Lords for the forces of evil and greed that now control the USDA Death Star and the Govi-Corp Parliment, er, I mean Congress.
But, there is hope. The rebel alliance of small farmers, homesteaders and consumers is rising up and make a loud angry noise with writs of protest to their representatives in government.
