And yes, they wanted to know everything, if you had a pond and what kind of fish you raised, every kind of animal you can think of was listed. They also wanted to know if you had seed and if you had a green house, wanted to know how many lanugages you spoke and if anyone else lived there who they were and all the questions pertained to them as well. It was very much intrusive. Someone reminded me that the Nazi's did a census just before they came in and took all the animals and food from the people. With the way the Government is going it is chilling, they want to know everything about us. Their is one census the Constitution allows for and that is only every 10 years and then it is only to ask how many people live in the home......If this animal identification is allowed, if we fall prey to their tactics we will be sorry because the Government is never satisfied, they always will want more. I will sell my horse before I bend to this .....I regret to have to do it but I will....but if it happens hide your kids because they will be the next ot be chipped...for security, safety reason of course.... Look, people should be allowed to privately own any domestic animal they want on their own property, especially in rural areas, let the government keep their noses to the grind stone by bettering the economy, getting us health care, and keeping us safe from terrorists, everything else should be up to the discretion of the public. Here in the Midwest the FDIC just opened up a huge new office in Chicago with several hundred employees to handle what may be the coming mortgage defaults and resultant failure of small banks. The Midwest is largely agriculture based and knowing where all assets are would fall in line with the government wanting its pound of flesh.
