Lynn,
If you think it is bad for us it the USA, EU Canada etc, what about Mexico and South America where much of the US beef we eat is imported from.
What is good for the goose….
I guess this is what Al Gore mean when he state “there will be no more farming in the USA”

I read something here that NAIS was dead, or that an announcement was forthcoming. I think the story was posted in the self sufficiency section of the NH UNDERGOROUND and referenced a link to Homeland stupidity another blog site. Has anybody else heard anything?
Also hello all, been awhile since I’ve posted here. Hope everybdy is doing great.

Remeber Derry Brownfield was saying one of the objectives of the puppet masters was to own all the land? Well I just ran across this.
WHO OWNS THE WORLD presents the results of the first-ever landownership survey of all 197 states and 66 territories of the world, and reveals facts both startling and eye-opening. You’ll learn that:
–Only 15% of the world’s population lays claim to landownership, and that landownership in too few hands is probably the single greatest cause of poverty.
–Queen Elizabeth II owns 1/6 of the entire land surface on earth (nearly 3 times the size of the U.S.).
–The Lichtenstein royal family is wealthier than the Grimaldis of Monaco.
–80% of the American population is crammed in urban areas.
–The least crowded state is Alaska, with 670 acres per person. The most crowded is New Jersey, with .7 acres per person.
–60% of America’s population are property owners. That’s behind the UK (69% homeownership).
–And much, much more!

Snazy snezy: Yes, Derry’s Master of Puppets (Don’t remember the real title)article at NWV was excellent.
I’m not sure if we are landowners anymore, this state keeps raising the rent (ahem, property tax).

Hey guys. I’ve been a long time reader, but first time poster. I hope this isn’t offtopic, if it is, please move it to the right category.
Anyways, I read about that new iPad that Apple came out with, and was taking a look at a few websites that actually show you how to get one free! This is just by completing a few surveys. If your interested, take a look here:

Here is a very timely article by Michael LeMieux at newswithviews.com today, titled:”The Law, the Constitution and Definitions”…he discusses “Interstate Commerce”..which we now know is the focus of USDA re: NAIS…new NAIS, I guess. He gives an example of how you could grow tomatoes for yourself…but it would be connected to Interstate Commerce. This is a good article to copy and give your congress and state politicians..

I had the dubious pleasure of sitting in the front row in Burlington, Vermont yesterday at a town hall type meeting with Sec’y Vilsack, Senators Leahy and Sanders, and Representative Welch. The topic at hand was the dairy crisis. After an hour and a half of speeching by grand poobahs, and pleas of help by the peons and subsidy takers, Senator Sanders said they were out of time for questions. There was a moment of quiet as gears shifted, so I, being me, leapt to my feet and said, “Mr. Vilsack, I want to thank you for stopping the National Animal Identification System.” He was looking in my direction until I said that and then his eyes dropped to some important work he had left unfinished, I guess, because he started writing. He never looked at me again, nor lifted his eyes as he said, “Yes, we have decided to leave those folks who want to raise a few chickens out of the equation.” “You mean that fastest growing segment of agriculture,” I asked him, “those who make less than $10,000 a year?” He had spoken earlier about the NASS survey and how that segment is growing faster than any other segment in agriculture. Maybe he read or heard Doreen recently…heh…
Bernie Sanders was looking at me though, giving me ‘grandpa winks’, you know, high fives with the eyes. He was so approving of me.
I was wearing the last “Know Your Chicken” button, and so, me being me, began to unfasten it from my sweater with an American flag on the front, and said, “This is a historical button and I’d like to give it to you. I wore it at every NAIS meeting I went to.” He still did not look at me as I stepped forward and placed it on the podium. “It says, Know Your Chicken.” Some of my friends in the audience laughed, and then everyone laughed. I sat down. He still wouldn’t look at me.
Bernie Sanders stopped giving me ‘grandpa winks’ then. His face turned bright red, even his ears.
People were shuffling around trying to either exit or get closer to the Men. I noticed that Mr. Vilsack had not picked up the button, so I went up to a large, linebacker sized black man who seemed to be in charge of Mr. Vilsack. I said to him, “If Mr. Vilsack isn’t going to take that button, I want it back. It is historical.” “I’ll make sure he takes it,” he said. He gave me one of his business cards asking me if I would email him my name, etc. His name? Malcolm X. Eve, Lead Advance to the Secretary.
Some of the other stuff I noticed: Leaky Leahy called Vilsack Secretary Obey. Bernie Sanders said that no other Sec’y of Ag had come to Vermont before. Leaky Leahy said that 3 others had. Vilsack said that we export more than we import. Leahy said, “So many of you that I talk with on the phone or my office does, you have all had that opportunity to be, to have that connection. That means a lot to just see you here.” I video’d most of the event and I transcribed it right off the raw video.
As for the dairy industry in Vermont or anywhere, they’re sunk. As one dairyman put it, “We’ve had a hundred of these meetings and nothing changes.”

So, if NAIS is dead-(which we all know is not, just the SOS being repackaged)-will WI issue an apology to the Amish and others it arrested for resisting NAIS? Waiting with baited breath for an answer ……………..waiting…………………waiting………….waiting……….waiting……………………………………………………………………………………………….
Comment Esbee — February 14, 2010 @ 7:48 am
From the Phantom’s suggestion to read M LeMieux at Newswith views.com, the gist of the fine print of interstate commerce is……” If you or I have a garden in our back yard which we grow for our own enjoyment and consumption; then we are affecting interstate commerce because we are not purchasing vegetables from the local grocer who may purchase from interstate suppliers thus impacting interstate commerce and therefore the federal government can regulate that activity.”
so that little convoluted piece of illogic is how they are going to bring NAIS in on us…because we buy local we are affecting the big interstate corporations’ ability to make a profit and thus we will have to pay somehow for that way of life, like registering ourselves as “buylocals”!!!! Have I invented a new gender? The buy-locals…geesh, big ag must be Ferengis? (greedy aliens from the star trek series who live solely for profit and have hundreds of rules of aquisition that they live by! Funny on film but not in real life!)
Comment Esbee — February 14, 2010 @ 8:05 am
Thought I would put some of the Ferengi rules of aquisition here for your amusement or disgust. I think this is what big ag CEO’s (or any large greedy corporation) live by. Actually some of the funnier ones I left off, Like “never have sex with the boss’s sister” followed by “Always have sex with the boss” but I only included what I could prove are USDA/big ag official policy in getting NAIS to full effect. I am sure they sent these rules to the states along with the NAIS on life support.
1.Once you have their money … never give it back.
3.Never pay more for an acquisition than you have to.
6.Never allow family to stand in the way of opportunity.
10.Greed is eternal.
13.Anything worth doing is worth doing for money.
16.A deal is a deal … until a better one comes along.
17.A contract is a contract is a contract (but only between Ferengi).
19.Satisfaction is not guaranteed.
21.Never place friendship above profit.
27.There’s nothing more dangerous than an honest businessman.
41.Profit is its own reward.
45.Expand, or die.
48.The bigger the smile, the sharper the knife.
52.Never ask when you can take.
60.Keep your lies consistent.
76.Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.
82.The flimsier the product, the higher the price.
85.Never let the competition know what you’re thinking.
97.Enough … is never enough.
99.Trust is the biggest liability of all.
111.Treat people in your debt like family … exploit them.
121.Everything is for sale, even friendship.
144.There’s nothing wrong with charity … as long as it winds up in your pocket.
162.Even in the worst of times someone turns a profit.
189.Let others keep their reputation. You keep their money.
202.The justification for profit is profit.
211.Employees are rungs on the ladder of success. Don’t hesitate to step on them.
239.Never be afraid to mislabel a product.
242.More is good … all is better.
261.A wealthy man can afford anything except a conscience.
266.When in doubt, lie.
284.Deep down everyone’s a Ferengi.

I am afraid states rights are beginning to look like the best bet for saving our tails.
I can not stand the republicans or the democrats but I keep think of the election year the federal reserve Act came in. So I am not sure a third party is the best use of my vote either, SIGH. This shows just how much the bankers control us.
“The Presidential campaign of 1912 records one of the more interesting political upsets in American history. The incumbent, William Howard Taft, was a popular president, and the Republicans, in a period of general prosperity, were firmly in control of the government through a Republican majority in both houses. The Democratic challenger, Woodrow Wilson, Governor of New Jersey, had no national recognition, and was a stiff, austere man who excited little public support. Both parties included a monetary reform bill in their platforms: The Republicans were committed to the Aldrich Plan, which had been denounced as a Wall Street plan, and the Democrats had the Federal Reserve Act. Neither party bothered to inform the public that the bills were almost identical except for the names. In retrospect, it seems obvious that the money creators decided to dump Taft and go with Wilson. How do we know this? Taft seemed certain of reelection, and Wilson would return to obscurity. Suddenly, Theodore Roosevelt “threw his hat into the ring.” He announced that he was running as a third party candidate, the “Bull Moose”. His candidacy would have been ludicrous had it not been for the fact that he was exceptionally well-financed. Moreover, he was given unlimited press coverage, more than Taft and Wilson combined. As a Republican ex-president, it was obvious that Roosevelt would cut deeply into Taft’s vote. This proved the case, and Wilson won the election. To this day, no one can say what Theodore Roosevelt’s program was, or why he would sabotage his own party. Since the bankers were financing all three candi-dates, they would win regardless of the outcome. Later Congressional testimony showed that in the firm of Kuhn Loeb Company, Felix Warburg was supporting Taft, Paul Warburg and Jacob Schiff were supporting Wilson, and Otto Kahn was supporting Roosevelt. The result was that a Democratic Congress and a Democratic President were elected in 1912 to get the central bank legislation passed. It seems probable that the identification of the Aldrich Plan as a Wall Street operation predicted that it would have a difficult passage through Congress, as the Democrats would solidly oppose it, whereas a successful Democratic candidate, supported by a Democratic Congress, would be able to pass the central bank plan. Taft was thrown overboard because the bankers doubted he could deliver on the Aldrich Plan, and Roosevelt was the instrument of his demise.”

Rep Pitts of SC is a great man in that he stands for the constitution and the rule of law.
Dr.Viera is also a great guy,he understands money in a way most people will never do!
He wrote a book entitled “Pieces of Eight” which is out of print but is a great piece in the subject.
Anyone who “thinks” knows the fiat paper we call a dollar is silly… as he(Dr V) says its akin to writting “a Cow” on a piece of paper and then calling it a cow,its ridiculous, we have to change it.
Rep Pitts bill is a bill NVCCA wrote along with a whole slew of others and sent to people like Pitts who expressed interest in sponsoring them, thats why I can say its a good piece of legislation;)basicly getting the state back on a sound money footing, every state needs to get rid of the fiat paper and get back to real money or go bust. Thanks! One more thing…anybody see where obama is getting ready to ban fishing along with wading, swimming ect in most if not all US waters?
Its been on the radio talk shows the last couple days and on some of the alternative news sites.
Seems he is planning to issue a kings decree(executive order) to this effect based on the desires of kooks posing as enviromentalists(key word here is “mental”)in groups like WWF,Greenpeace,Sierra Club and others…to protect the enviroment and stop the cruelty of fishing…Im not sure why about the swimming and such unless he wants to be sure we never endure the trauma of seeing Polosi or Rahm skinny dipping)Ugggghhhh!
Anyhow just wanted to give a heads up to all you patriots who like to fish and skinnydip..I mean swim;) I know it sounds immpossible but then NAIS, healthcare and banning ducks wasnt too probable a few years ago!Go get em! Thanks! Lee

It was also posted on the Drudge Report and linked to ESPN. One must marvel at all the jobs related to fishing that will be created or saved.
There was no mention in the article I read about wading or swimming.
Since the government is determined to control all the water, not just navigable waters, banning use by the common person seems to be in lockstep with the march to tyranny. Under another monarch, it was a crime to hunt the king’s deer.

Hey IOPTF – BITE ME: The Fed moving to end fishing
“One just has to know with something so simple, so pure someone will have to decide to mess with it – and so they have. In June the White House created the IOPTF they should have named it WTF in my humble opinion. The Interagency Oceans Policy Task Force has now managed to somehow correlate, corroborate, and con triturate (in under 90 days at Presidential tasking) a policy that will sacrifice 1 million U.S. jobs and possibly restrict access of over 60 million yearly anglers to do what they love : Fish”

[Please do note that this potential regulation is nothing new and has been being pushed through under multiple administrations of both parties. Nasty stuff that seeks to destroy our freedoms.
