Debra Medina who is running against Perry for Governor of Texas is Anti-NAIS. I am hosting a meeting in Sulphur Springs TX the 19th of January, 2010. It will be held at the Comfort Inn, exit 127, I-30 and will begin at 5:00 pm. Debra is conservative and embraces the values that we, who are against the nais , hold dear. I hope the NoNAIS people will turn out for the meeting.

I originally posted this on the eat Dirt entry but had I waited one more day I could have put this where it really belongs (duh!)
My brother from Calif is visiting us for the holidays in TX. He told me he noticed as he was driving here that there were stockpiles of those cement road barriers along the major roads -hwy 10, 20, 30 (CA, AZ, NM, TX) and then he up into S. OK for the day and saw more stockpiled along Hwy 70. He told me the army would do this (when he was deployed during the Gulf War) to get ready for major road blocks. He says that is what it looked like to him. Has anyone else noticed this anywhere else in the country? My husband said it is just the hwy dept getting ready to do major road work, but after 3 yrs of NAIS lies and deception and seeing bills like NotSoFinestein’s, I am just a little gunshy of what our gooferment has planned for the citizens.

I mentioned this article once before, but it is good to look at again, as the root of all of these “troubles” is “Money”…. and many people do not really know a lot about “fiat money”..fractional reserve banking…the Federal Reserve, etc. So, go to newswithviews.com and find Dr. Steven Yates name at the left sidebar…and read his article (3 part) on “Our money system”…written Dec. 2005. It covers a lot of territory….

Above is an article about a cookbook by a former vegetarian who is now eating meat, but not just any meat, meat that is grass-fed pasture raised. This is a great place to leave comments about NAIS. Though dead in the water at the moment I know these people will not rest and it must be stomped out waaay past dead. Like stomping a spider or other bug, you stomp and stomp and stomp.
Funny thing, the author ended up with the following comment….”And if these organic farm animals have such great lives, isn’t the more humane thing to eat a cage-raised, industrially processed chicken? At least we’d be putting it out of its misery.”
I wrote a comment saying factory farmed animals full of hormones and antibiotics are slated for slaughter on assembly line processing no matter what or who eats them…and that pasture raised animals are happy healthy and usually custom slaughtered locally.

This is what we in France and Europe are having to go through. As soon as the microchip thing was accepted in the EEC/EU we suddenly had to tag our sheep in both ears. A sort of pay off for the plastic tag companies to double their money for the three years left to them.
All these decisions are made among the “Industry Partners”. That is to say those who can afford to take the Government out to lunch in a classy restaurant and shaft us.

Fair Season is coming again folks.
Indiana
(Cattle)
“4-H youth planning to exhibit beef or dairy steers at the 2010 Clark County 4-H Fair must have their animals enrolled and RDIF tagged from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 13 at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds, Ind. 62, near Charlestown.”
We know that Indiana is mandatory at this time, but now might be the time to start your Letters to the Editor. If this is not mandatory in your state encourage 4H members, leaders and families to have a discussion on the costs/loss of freedom to farm associated with the mandatory process.
As someone once said “Just Say No. Fill in the PIN section on your form with - NO to NAIS”

No NAIS law introduced for Oklahoma.
HB 2781, introduced by Oklahoma Rep. Lisa Billy (R-McClain County), is as I understand it a bill prohibiting the Oklahoma State Department of Agriculture from implementing mandatory NAIS or premise registration.
Short Title of the bill:
Agriculture; prohibiting agency from mandating national animal identification registry.
To read it try this link below, scroll down to find HB 2781:
Oklahoma legislation
or try copying and pasting the link below:
webserver1.lsb.state.ok.us/TextOfMeasures/TextOfMeasures.aspx
If you should have trouble with the link(s) above please follow these directions below:
Go to the Oklahoma House of Reps website link here.
Or copy and paste below:
www.okhouse.gov/
Then move your cursor over Legislation on the left bar of the page, another bar will appear to the right, scroll down to click on Text of Measures. A new window will appear, click on the blue box or the line below that that reads “Text of Measures.” Another page will appear, click on House, 2010 Regular Session, Introduced, then click Search. The page with the bills will appear, scroll down until you see HB 2781. It will open as a word doc.
If you need a resource to send to progressive, liberal Oklahomans who do not trust conservative websites there are many liberal, progressive websites opposing NAIS.
One is Jill Richardson’s, a progressive food activist, author of “Recipe
for America: Why Our Food System is Broken and What We Can Do to Fix
It.” She offers a concise explanation of why this legislation will not
work for its intended purpose. Search for “animal id” at her website,

I have been posting on a lot of blogs to try and get people to realize the problems with the Food safety laws.
Nicole Johnson has written two great articles that document the problem complete with extensive references. they are:
The Festering Fraud Behind Food Safety Reform
and
History, HACCP and the Food Safety Con Job
I also write the URLs on index cards and hand them out at farmers markets along with information on the Federal Reserve rippoff.
Short easy to read version
Creature From Jekyll Island
Long version by House Banking Committee
A Primer on Money
I start with the money/fractional reserve and then get into food and it works quite well. People are finally waking up to the fact Congress is in the pocket of big money and helping them rip off the average citizen.

A while ago I discovered Monsanto funneled money to Rosa Delauro through her husband’s contracting firm. (She owns 67% of said firm)
Another way the connection between donor and receiver has been hidden is the use of the “Tides Foundation”
Well some one else found a third way. This is how corporations can funnel large amounts of cash into a politicians war chest legally and without leaving a money trail! We can thank Climategate, Pachauri and the group at Watts Up with that who have been doing for energy production what we have for food production and farming.
Manny thanks to bob for pointing this out.
“bob (19:16:46) :
I think everyone is missing the point. Its not about the content of the book. The reason politicians publish books these days is because it’s the best way for supporters to line the pockets of the politician without breaking any laws. Interest groups can buy large quantities of the books (which they then toss in the trash). The interest group then tells the politician – “you know, we bought 100,000 copies of your book to distribute to poor children.” Presto, instant influence….”
Thanks to the internet, the whistle-blower at CRU and the crash of the world economy, the whole smelly mess is coming to light and voters are finally starting to pay attention to how the bankers, corporations, media and politicians have been manipulating them on many fronts.
Henry Kissinger declared in the 1970’s, “If you control the oil you control the country; if you control food, you control the population”
And from Maurice Strong, Father of the Environmental Movement and Global Warming (1st Earth Summit 1972):
“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring about?”
From the Club of Rome’s The First Global Revolution:
“The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through
changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.”
- Club of Rome
Finally Bertrand Russell said:
“Western populations would accept serfdom if it was packaged as saving the earth”
Unfortunately we have come very close to seeing this come true. A totalitarian World Government run by the World Bank and the UN.
Developing countries react furiously to leaked draft agreement that … The draft hands effective control of climate change finance to the World Bank

I just stumbled over this information on the behavior of children vs food additives. What an eye opener.
Additives change behaviour
“People say “it’s just kids-being-kids”, but when schools remove additives from food between 30 to 70% of parents report that they notice an improvement…..”

“27 January 2010
Government gives green light to NAIT scheme
The Government has given the go-ahead for the National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) project, a livestock traceability scheme.
Agriculture Minister David Carter says the Government would provide funding to build and operate the new system and would draw up legislation to make it compulsory for cattle and deer farmers.
“NAIT is about future-proofing New Zealand agriculture,” says Mr Carter. “The Government is satisfied that there is a strong business case for the scheme and that its benefits far outweigh its costs….” source

Here is more bad news.
UN agency calls for global cyberwarfare treaty, ‘driver’s license’ for Web users
“The world needs a treaty to prevent cyber attacks becoming an all-out war, the head of the main UN communications and technology agency warned Saturday.
International Telcommunications Union secretary general Hamadoun Toure gave his warning at a World Economic Forum debate where experts said nations must now consider when a cyber attack becomes a declaration of war….”
This probably ties in with the Fox news story declaring the Climategate whistleblower leak was an attack by spies/hackers.
I really am getting tired of the attacks on my freedom.

Thank you Snaz for your comments and links to impt. articles…esp. at #11 where you highlight “The Creature from Jeckyl Island”…which is not fiction..but the Island off of Ga. where the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was hatched. Today, at newswithviews.com Devvy Kidd has a most impt. 2-part article, re: 1100 letters that she sent out to state representatives just recently…on “Sound Money Bills” As I have said before, it is the “money thing” we must get educated on…So READ the short version mentioned in comment #11 above re: the creature from jeckly island; read Devvy Kidds article today, as it involves all of us…we must work with out state legislatures…as our only hope, as outlined in the article on “Nullification” by Derek Sheriff (former green beret) at lewrockwell.com yesterday… Real ID got nullified by many states…NAIS is getting somewhat stopped in a few…more needed… and…stay in contact with your teaparty people… (I recommended it before: at newswithviews.com “Our Money System” by Dr. Steven Yates…Dec. 28, 2005….

We have always known that government documents get quietly changed so officials can cover their bums. Seems a journalist has finally caught them in the act.
Stern report was changed after being published
The Stern Report was released in the UK in time to influence members of Parliament in the UK AND Congressmen in the USA about Global Warming.
With luck and the internet perhaps we can keep our masters from adding more chains to burden us.

Phantom,
I agree with you. Griffin and Mullins analysis of the passage of the 1913 Federal Reserve Act shows the template of how the Money Changers act to get legislation they want passed. Understanding this lays the foundation for understanding how we are manipulated today.
1. Create a Crisis
2. Influence Academia and the mass media so propaganda not truth is spread.
3. Write a bill with “good provisions”
4. “Show” big business is “opposed” to the legislation.
5. Once the legislation is passed remove the “good provisions” and replace with amendments more to the money Changers liking.
The “Food Safety” bill, Health Care bill, Cap and Trade bill, all follow this same pattern. None of the bills are for the benefit of US citizens, they are all for the benefit of special interest groups and will be changed by amendments once they are passed.
On another blog a commenter mentioned his brother worked for the EPA. His marching orders were to leave Mobil/Exxon strictly alone and go after the Mom and Pop oil companies. This is the same type of thing that happened with the USDA and the major Slaughter houses. The government oversight agencies are filled with corporate puppets who then use the “color of the law” to put their smaller competitors out of business. Fascism at its finest, thanks to duping naive Political Activists.

Its all a big ponzi scheme to bilk the hardworking people of the USA. And this is what we need to break. I would think people would understand all of this if written up with examples with Enron and Murdock.
This cap and trade that they want so bad is a prime example of a ponzi scheme.
