If God wanted us to be vegan, then why did he make animals out of meat?

I read an article somewhere that talked about how a vegan diet was completely unsustainable in most of the world. Vegans must use suplements and transport food tremendously long distances to get their food. An omnivore diet allows for local storage of foods over the winter and all the food can be produced locally and is a complete balanced diet. We are naturally omnivores. Eating meat fruit veggies nuts and grains is all a natural part of our diet. Be a localavore omnivore and eat sustainably for a better planet!

Could be why Vegans are six times more likely to suffer brain shrinkage (<a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Vegans%20are%20six%20times%20more%20likely%20to%20suffer%20brain%20shrinkage&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8">go ahead and google it</a>).

Pass the bacon please!

I have to say I love being a carnivore. Additionally, I am a Atkins Life-Time Maintenance Gal. Started on this journey in 2006, right before we bought the farm. Atkins and farming go hand in hand, hand in glove, whatever...

It's the eating habits of Atkins that melded so well with my MIG style grazing, humane efforts of slaughter, and the totally natural (not organic--not good enough IMHO) growing of vegetables, fruits and grains. I eat everything except processed sugars. (Note, sugar makes cancer cells grow and flourish, and that includes HFCS).

So this is something I agree with hardily and I'm sure the good Dr Atkins would too if he were still around.

Hello All

They don't want us to meat, as with encouraging us to eat inferior quality processed food, precisely because it will make the population more docile, and thus more manageable.

There are many aspects to the above proposition but primary among them are diminished ability to reason and simple exhaustion from malnutrition.

And that's the future the planners have decided upon for our heirs.
