Free Corn!

Satire — walterj 12:27 pm

This was sent to me by someone. Next time anyone asks you why you oppose NAIS tell them this story…

Catching Pigs

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back andstretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The studenttold him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist regime.

In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: “Do you know how to catch wild pigs?” The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said that it was no joke.

“You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods andputting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down onone side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used tothe fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side ofthe fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continueuntil you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the lastside. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them andcatch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. Theyrun around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they goback to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they haveforgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept theircaptivity.”

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he seeshappening in America . The government keeps pushing us towardCommunism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form ofprograms such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, taxcuts, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not toplant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continuallylose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as afree lunch and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaperthan you can do it yourself.

If you see that all of this wonderful government “help” is a problemconfronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably delete this e-mail. But God help you when the gate slams shut!

The only thing I can add to this is a question for you…Which candidates out there are most anxious to spread around the free corn, and what might their motives be?

Think about it…!!

[…and yes, this is a highly effective way of catching pigs. -WJ]

  1. There is no diference between Obama and McCain. They are both puppets
of Zbigniew Brzezinski. I checked it out and both have Brzezinski
advisors (means ends up in cabinet).

  4. Another area that Nais will be beneficial to is the Wildlands Project. I had read this article, that I am going to reference, way back; so I looked it up again.Knowing where all the people are and their domestic animals would be beneficial to the Wildlands Project and GAP, etc. This article has some interesting maps and information that you do not run across so easily. However, it sure does help see more of this picture that is not friendly to liberty. It was published at Range Magazine, fall 05 issue, titled “Taking Liberty”.
