Destron Fearing from Digital Angel, maker of implantable micro-chips. Gah! Sounds awful. What a product name.
Joseph J. Grillo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Digital Angel, said, “We continue to support the livestock industry groups and USDA as they implement NAIS for livestock producers on a voluntary basis. We believe this system is extremely valuable for developing prompt animal traceability standards and improving the country’s ability to respond to a massive disease outbreak utilizing our Destron Fearing livestock and equine identification products. The more efficiently and thoroughly we can respond to an animal disease outbreak, the quicker we can contain the disease, reduce animal and financial losses, and return to business as usual.”

The rest of the press release reads like Digital Angel is the one writing the USDA PR. Imagine that… Perhaps they are also the ones who thought up the infamous Kill Zones documented on page 31 of the GAO document 05-214 they talk about depopulation (killing) of both diseased and healthy animals, both domestic and wild, in 10-km zones around infections. This is one of the big issues that concerns a great many small stakeholders and is alienating people.
Should USDA officially confirm the presence of a disease, such as FMD, the affected herd and all cattle, sheep, goats, swine, and susceptible wildlife—infected or not—within a minimum 10-kilometer zone around the infected farm would be killed.

The Digital Angel press release in FoxBusiness also mentions:
Digital Angel (www.DigitalAngel.com) is an advanced technology company in the field of identification solutions and tracking of high-value assets. Digital Angel’s products are utilized around the world in such applications as pet identification using its patented, FDA-approved implantable microchip; livestock identification and tracking using visual and RFID ear tags; and global positioning systems (GPS: 20.04, +0.36, +1.82%) search and rescue beacons for use on aircraft, ships and boats, and by adventure enthusiasts. Digital Angel is the controlling stockholder of VeriChip Corporation (NASDAQ:CHIP).

Notice that little line about GPS. The USDA will want that for tracking and targeting all life forms incase they decide to do a search and destroy mission in your neighborhood. And, as they’ll likely say, with their finger on the red button, “Have a nice day!“

Did I not read “depopulation” also could include burning of wooden structures to stop infections? Like your barn, oops and it spread to the woods and the houses…..

This reads like something out of 1984 or Hitlers Germany.

I hate to tell you it is fascism just like in Hitler’s Germany. And it is from the same group of people. It didn’t work in Germany, it didn’t work in the USSR (communism) and now they are going to try another slightly different version of Fascism on us
Communism ~~ the government owns the means and method of production.
Fascism the government controls the means and method of production.
