I am not sure on this--
anyway-- at a Chicken Yard Sale ( Conneautville, Pa) this past weekend, we were informed it may very well be the last one-- The organizer informed me that in the spring, State inspectors were told of the event BY HER VET, and a USDA person was on site, taking samples from all poultry. The organizer had been told to gather names and addresses of all poultry vendors... This time, she was told to gather names and addys of all vendors!!!! She did not, either time--
A local person has some ag property listed for sale. It is now off the market, but the intended buyer ( no legal paers generated as of yet) has already recieved notification that he needs to register the premises-- he has no plans to raise anything, just hunt!!!! Who reperoted this to the local APHIS office? I shudder to think it is someone within the realtor's office-- that particular office handles better than 70 percent of all local ag zoned property in the area.

WSDA is the second Department of Agriculture in the nation to be sued related to the NAIS. May there be many legal actions, legislation and limiting of rampant regulation. The best thing folks can do is get active-10 minutes a day-and let the powers that be know that we aren't going away .
