[Careful about putthing things in mailboxes. The Post Office has a monopoly Title 18, Part I, Chapter 83, § 1725.

Geez........I paid for my mailbox and installed it - not the USPS. I didn't realize until now that this was a precursor to NAIS. I own it, but they control it.

Becky emailed the following summary comments and a lot more from the rally.

Commentary:
It took me a while, but I finally " Got er done!"..So noted, is I did not send every photo taken, as I tried to send the best ones.

As the Granny's left the area, along with them went a piece of my heart. I admire their stamina and their fight for truth and justice, all at their own expense, with very limited donations for their gas and travel expenses.

Was the Protest a success. you ask?

Considering all factors, Yes, indeed it was. We were able to reach and chat with many people passing by. We accomplished a lot between ourselves, sharing dreadful stories of past and present, that have caused much mental, as well as physical stress. We all shared a common bond of dreaded FEAR for the FUTURE of our great country, America.

Most of the time, when these kinds of horrible situations happen upon us, we feel alone. Just knowing that other people understand, helps so much. As all of us ask ourselves, Will I be next, and if so am I prepared?

Where will it all end??

For the Henshaw's and the Davis',Monty, Renee' and others who have suffered at the hands of many of this country's so called law enforcement agency's, no one knows? No one knows, BUT we will fight on, our children and grand children depend on us to make them safe and pass on to them, the same Freedoms that we have known until now.

Its up to all of us, together we can make a difference.

Many thanks to all who made this rally a success. People from all over this country, sent out messages and suggestions, made signs, volunteered to carry signs, just to mention a few things.

Our special gratitude to the three Granny's... We are grateful to you all, for coming to Virginia and lending us a hand. As your journey continues along the highways, please know our thoughts and prayers go with you for your safety and courage to carry the message across America. Our love and admiration rides with you.

( Wish I was with y'all) (smile)

Thank you everyone and I hope I did the protest, justice in reporting the event to you.

My best to all,

Becky ( also know as Dick's sister)

Thank you walter! For that regulation chapter and verse on the post office! I had heard about that sort off thing but had not seen it for real. Good to know that. I won't be sticking hand outs in to mailboxs for sure!

You can also make your own speech at the Soapbox on the Congress.org site for $8.95. It is really worth it and perhaps many people will read it. You have the option of 5 areas of interest in which to place your "speech" as well....such as "civil rights", "rural issues" and many many more.I will before election day! Make it a good one...but no threats, etc because they will delete stuff like that...

In preparation for the rally (which I will only be able to attend in spirit), I've printed out NoNAIS flyers on my home computer and put them on all the mailboxes in my neighborhood. Ten mailboxes in all and 10 more families who will now know about NAIS (assuming that they actually read the flyers - here's to hoping!). I think it would be a good idea if others did the same. Walking up and down the street is good exercise besides.

LOL! Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it... It's very true. We've come a long way, but until Star-Trekian Food Replicators are invented to make food of any type out of raw matter, no matter how some people will want to ignore it, human society will always be tied to the farms. I wish more people appreciated that and how vital and noble farming families really are.

Excellent Retort Rachael! As I read it I flashed on both ways--the ultra-inane philisophical discourse meant for the brainiacks of the day and the Sagas--were both products of agrarian times when there was no media other than tales, and religion. How far we've come, yet not so near.
