Yep,there goes our brave new USDA protecting their own backsides, cause imagine if Creeksides plan worked, then NAIS would be shown unnessessary and USDA would become ,shall we say, irrelevant.Wait, they already are! Bill, remember back when stealing 1.2 million was a crime and folks went to jail and even lost their jobs?I wonder what info we'll end up with relating to avian flu that this nice honest fella is working on now? Keep kickin folks anything that full of rot has to break eventually, methinks they doth know this! have a great day!!

Contractors hired by the USDA in Madison, WI to test for BSE were overpaid 1.2 million according to an article in the May 10th edition of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
<a href="http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=422367">link</a>
The federal veterinarian who approved the payments has been reassigned to the service's eastern regional office in Raleigh, N.C. to work on avian influenza issues.
The article goes on to state, "To date, two of more than 700,000 cattle tested nationally as part of the government's enhanced surveillance program were found to have had mad cow disease."
Questions I have.
Were the infected cows from a small or corporate farm?
Were they in the same herd?
In which state(s) were the infected cows located?
